Facilities

The Central Library is built in an area of 2412 Sq.m. The uniqueness of our library is in its expansive study space, Centralized AC, blended with state-of-art facilities. The Digital Library service unit provides access to computers with internet facility. A separate dedicated leased line has been installed for high-speed internet connectivity. The Library has a high density of shelving for printed collections. Library has collections of audio-visual material. We have a membership with DELNET and NDL. Our Library has fully RFID Technology facility. Our library has Video Conference facilities.

Thus promoting the health and wellness of the campus community by providing high-quality prevention, education, and treatment services. The medical, counseling, and health promotion services are designed to help you stay healthy or get better so that you can minimize disruptions caused by injury and illness.The medical facilities include:

K.Ramakrishnan College of Engineering is a renowned institution in the city of Tiruchirappalli. The college right from its inception in 2008 has focused on growth of the students hence proudly has its mantra as “Students Success is our Success”. The institute holds NAAC accreditation with ‘A’ Grade, NBA Accredited departments and ranked in the band of 201-300 in NIRF ranking adding as another feather on the cap the institute got approval to establish AICTE – IDEA LAB in the 2024-2025 session.

As skill driven era is becoming the pressing need up-skilling and re-skilling are now the two new buzz words for students the AICTE IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab at K. Ramakrishnan College of Engineering (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli established with the support of All India Council for Technical Education will act as a driving force towards achieving the need. This facility targets a state-of-the-art innovation and prototyping center that will function as a hub for ideation, innovation, design thinking and nurtures creativity among students and faculty members of various disciplines and kinds. The key intention of this AICTE – IDEA LAB KRCE is to make future ready individuals to meet out new challenges by providing hands-on experience, participative learning and skill development programs. This will also support to turn ideas into prototypes and working models thus empower the users gain more beyond theoretical knowledge and engage in real-time problem solving.

The IDEA Lab encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, enabling students from engineering, science, and allied domains to work together to address societal and industrial challenges. By fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and research culture, the lab acts as a catalyst for startups, patentable products, and industry-ready solutions. Aligned with the vision of AICTE to promote innovation in technical education, the AICTE-IDEA LAB KRCE supports:
